How humanity’s first mothers can usher in a new world for planet Earth
Last week, I wrote about the costs of being Black in white spaces.
And that felt really heavy. The gravity of how dark this world can be was weighing on me. It’s something I’m always acutely aware of. Yet, collective trauma of watching others like me suffer feels personal.
Empaths have a hard time in a world full of injustice, chaos, and suffering.
So, I’ve been feeling into how we can thrive as this old world, the matrix crumbles and a new one is born.
Because have no fear, this empire is falling. So the pains of scarcity, war, racism, genocide, imperialism, famine, colonialism, and the like are still present.
Simultaneously, a new world is being birthed. One of higher consciousness, healing, equity, restoration, safety, innocence, and ecological preservation, and global justice.
Being able to navigate both is imperative for the world ahead. Especially as Black women, I believe we are called to reminder the importance of our Creator energy. Every single human on this planet has descended from a Black African woman, the mitochondrial Eve.
With that being said, I believe the solution is in us aligning with the archetypal Garden of Eden within. This world actively tries to disconnect us from this power with its chaos, distractions, systems of inequity… Yet this ability to create something from nothing — URE ALCHEMY — remains embedded into our DN A
Here are few ways I believe we can collectively remember and activate this internal power.
To the Black woman who yearns for Eden, a garden of paradise here on Earth, this is for you:
- Center and ground yourself
- Ensure your nervous system is regulated and you’re at home in your body. You are in a lifelong relationship with your vessel, treat her well.
- Cycle syncing
- Enough said! I’ve been talking about this for over 6 years on this blog now. You know what I’m about. If you don’t, peep the Womb Wisdom Bundle.
- Create external spaces to be safe and relaxed
- Whether they be physical, mental, spiritual, or emotional you need to have a way to be restored and nurtured.
- Create community full of those you trust, love, and respect.
- This feels like a no brainer. Use your discernment. Not all skinfolk is kinfolk.
- Read
- In this world, everything can be lost but you’ll always have what’s in your head and your heart. Exploring the universe within a book helps you develop new perspectives and create new neuro-pathways. Plus, reading is very fun in my opinion.
- Develop analog skills
- In a hyper digital and convenient world, return to that which require you to work with your hands. Plant, cook, sew, build, paint, braid, live in real life.
- Create
- Daydream, imagine, and bring what you see into this physical reality. When you do this, you open yourself up to the infinite possibilities of life that exist within this multiverse. Creation connects you with that part within, the inherent power to birth life. You connect back to the energy of Eve, of all Black women before you. Creational energy is what we need to usher in the new world.
There’s so much more I want to say here but it’s late and I’m typing at near midnight. Oooooops.
Sending you so much love.
