A letter from our founder:

“I am from a lush, mountainous island where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea. The soil is so fertile that fruit trees and herbs (the bush) thrive organically. The people live with respect for the land, her cycles, and her provisions.

Bush Medicine Woman is an herbal apothecary rooted in the culture of my upbringing in the U.S. Virgin Islands. We are rooted in the principles of regeneration, nourishment, community, and wellness with female biology in mind.

This means we grow, harvest, and formulate our herbal medicine by focusing on wellbeing — wellbeing of our planet, the wellbeing of our communities, and the wellbeing of your mind-body-spirit connection.

I have written and talked about this wisdom, yet words do properly convey the depth that this life has to offer. This medicine is better known through an an embodied interaction. So, I bring Bush Medicine Woman to you – wisdom from the women of my lineage.”
