A woman embodying her feminine being is sweeter than the finest honey 🍯
Oshun is the feminine embodiment in the Yoruba tradition of Nigeria and many parts the Caribbean/Latin America (one of my lineages).
She embodies fertility, playfulness, beauty, sweetness, wealth, love, and feminine devotion.
As an Orisha (diety/spiritual entity), she is gifted with the sacred protection of women (especially during pregnancy), children, and the fresh river waters of the world.
Her existence is rooted in being loved by her father Obatala and her husband Shango.
For a long time, I rejected her teachings thinking that being a “boss babe” was the only way to succeed as a woman.
Over the past few years I’ve come to feel the wisdom in womanhood and life has only gotten sweeter 🍯
I love Oshun because she reminds me of the beauty in being feminine, soft, and strong. Through her many moods and iterations, Oshun thrives because she is in complete surrender to her wild womanhood.
This is what makes her so magnetic, beautiful, and irresistible ✨
Many of us women have forgotten her due to living in this modern world that prizes us when we harden like men.
Yet, Mama Oshun and her juicy presence has never truly left us 🍯
I invite you to remember your unique feminine blueprint the 3rd round of my program, Returning to the Feminine.
Early bird registration is open 🕊Message me (dejachaniah) to apply.
🌺 I’m curious: Do you know Oshun? What’s your relationship with her like?
