Heavy melanated people are indigenous to places like West Africa or the Indonesian islands. Olive tones are likely to be indigenous to the Mediterranean or Middle East. Less melanated folks may come from the Siberian Mongols, Irish Celtic people… This is truth.

Yet we are fed created racial categories meant to divide us and distract us from who we are…

⚔️This goes back far deeper than Columbus and his tomfoolery. For centuries things like empires, war, colonization, immigration, poverty disconnected many from their ancestral, indigenous ways of living.

Humans are innately connected to our Natural environment (Earth), have respect for her, and treasure her gifts.

There are people who remember pieces of this wisdom 💡 Carried in hearts from the homeland to new places, fragmented traditions infused with new perspectives, planted in food and protected in land with honor…

These are people who will take you in, feed you, tell you stories despite a language barrier, show you love — just because. Just because they know the love of Mother Earth.

This is our time to rise up and remember our sovereignty as humans on this planet. We have a lot to heal individually and collectively. That requires us to get back to the indigenous roots within us

Our mother is crying, she just wants her kids [us] to get along and keep the house [planet] clean. Do you hear her?

I do. And I know outside of the BS noise, you do too

Those who live with respect and reverence for our Mother Earth are our most precious teachers. Listen to them. Illuminate them. Amplify their voices.

May we know them, may we love them, may we be them.

Thank you, thank you, thank you 💚
